When is Good to Visit Myanmar

As travels Myanmar tips, the best time to visit Myanmar land is between November and February. Duing these months it rains least (if at all in Places)and it's not so hot in Myanmar. March to May brings intense heat (TS Eliot described April as "the cruelest month"). At this time, Yangon's daily temperatures often reach 40 C, while areas around Bagan and Mandalay go a few digits higher in Myanmar. The cool hill towns of Myanmar Shan State offer relief from the heat, though. The cool hill stations of the Shan State or the wind-swept rakhaing (Araken) State or Tanintharyi (tenasserim) Division coasts are best visited when the rest of Myanmar is miserable hot. The Myanmar southwest monsoon starts between mid-May and mid-june, bringing frequent rains that dunk the Myanmar country through till October, peaking from July to September. The dry one (roughly the area between Mandalay and Pyay) gets less rain than the rest of Myanmar country, though roads anywhere (and particularly in the delta region south and east of Yangon) can become impassable. Myanmar Rakhing State bears the full force of the rains- often exceeding 500cm of rain annually in Myanmar.
